Hummus

Bought a new blender and made hummus the other day. After perusing some recipes, I improvised a bit and produced a quite tangy version by adding extra Greek yogurt and cumin seeds.
  • 1 cup of chickpeas (steamed or boiled til mushable)
  • olive oil 
  • water
  • 1 tablespoon yogurt
  • cumin
  • curry powder (optional)
  • 2 tablespoon nut butter (I used cashew bc it was around...pb or tahini will work marvels too)
  • salt
  • pepper (optional)
Basically blend in whatever order necessary til right hummus consistency, adding extra condiments for personal preference. Mine was on the extra yogurt extra cumin seed side...
