cowgirl seahorse

@ Cowgirl Seahorse, cutest and one of the very few places in NYC for Cajun/Gulf Coast/Southern seafood. Made me miss Texas, New Orleans, and Key West...Anywho...had my first ever Po-Boy, and boy oh boy....was it succulent. Instead of the usual fried corn-battered shrimp I got the fried corn-battered oysters. Coupled with a buttered baguette, some tartar/mayo sauce...whoooowheee. Absolute fried heaven. Pookie got an awesome (read: nice and oiled) crabcake burger. Onion rings and french fries on our sides. REALLY cold REALLY tasty margaritas. The place was packed---Cinco de Mayo and Kentucky Derby double punching on happy hour, so drunk happy people were wearing ceremonious Mexican hats while cheering their prized horses on in front of the double plasma TVs.
