My favorite coffee shop Joe's coffee has a book out! It's supposed to trace the coffee route from growers to baristas and provide gourmie tips on coffee brewing, tasting, and selection. Also, a new local coffee place is serving Blue Bottle coffee. The other day, we went for the first time, and the coffee tasted distinctly fresh, rich and nutty...to the point where I had to find out their suppliers...Can't wait to get my hands on a bag and home brew for myself. They also have a book I'm planning to check out. Am thinking back on my summer barista days in early college and reminiscing the satisfying sound of grinding espresso beans and making toddy.
