Jack Hylton's Orch. - You're The Cream In My Coffee, 1928

This week we started our first dance class and got introduced to the Foxtrot. I didn't know it originated in the US nor did I know the music is so similar to Swing, which I love (imagine a more elegant, arrogant, fox-tailed, whiskers-high swing). It's along the same lines as Ragtime, early Jazz Americana that makes the early 20th century such a destination if I were to hop on into a time machine buggy and land in Tin Pan Alley New York. After class, I've been researching and listening to old Foxtrot tunes.

Also, the theme of Pink Panther is totally a Trot!
